WILMOT – Wilmot bolted out to a 16-point first-quarter lead and claimed a 51-22 win over Langford Area during the opening round of the Region 1B boys’ basketball tournament Monday night.

Maddux Foss scored 11 points to lead a balanced attack for the Wolves. Taedon Muilenburg followed with nine, and Ethan Schwenn and Daniel Kohl each added seven.

Jacob Samson topped Langford Area with nine points.
