CASTLEWOOD – Second-rated Class A Hamlin made 11 of 15 3-pointers in the opening half on the way to a 71-47 boys’ basketball win over third-rated Class B Castlewood Monday night.

The perimeter barrage allowed the Chargers to open up 45-23 halftime advantage en route to the victory.

Jackson Wadsworth had 17 points to lead four players in double-figure scoring for Hamlin, which improved to 12-3 on the season. Evan Stormo followed with 15, Easton Neuendorf contributed 14, and Tyson Stevenson finished with 12.

Lane Tvedt had 17 points to top Castlewood, which slipped to 13-2. Luke Baumberger netted 11, and Bryon Laue added nine.
