FAULKTON – Faulkton used a 17-8 third-quarter surge to erase a five-point halftime deficit and move to a 48-41 Lake Region Conference boys’ basketball win over Ipswich Friday night.

Layne Cotton finished with 14 points, 18 rebounds, and four assists for the Trojans. Gian DiMaria contributed 13 points and five steals.

Jace Konsor scored 13 points to lead a balanced attack for Ipswich, which lost for just the second time in 12 outings this season. Trevor Heinz added 12 points, and Chet Peterson finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
