FAULKTON - Pierce Baumberger of Miller and Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern won their respective races at the Lakeside Invitational Cross Country Meet Wednesday afternoon in Faulkton.
Baumberger led a strong delegation of Miller runners to the team title with nine total points. Teammates Alex Schumacher and Isaiah Gortmaker, finished second and sixth respectively.
Potter County's Nicholas Schlachter finished third, while Northwestern's Lincoln Woodring was fourth and Nathan Melius was fifth to help lead the Wildcats to a second-place team finish.
