MELLETTE – Northwestern allowed just 11 second-half points to rally for a 40-38 Lake Region Conference boys’ basketball win over Ipswich Tuesday night.

The Wildcats trailed at each quarter break before outscoring Ipswich 11-6 in the final quarter to grab the win and improve to 3-0 on the season.

Lincoln Woodring scored 12 points, and Quintin Fischbach finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds to pace Northwestern.

Trevor Heinz tossed in a game-high 17 points for the Tigers, while Chet Peterson contributed 10.
