HAYTI – Hamlin built a lead and then made 11 of 13 free throws in the final quarter to secure a 69-57 Northeast Conference boys’ basketball victory over Groton Friday night.

Tyson Stevenson led the foul shooting making all seven of his attempts in the fourth quarter.

Easton Neundorf scored 20 points and Brennan Keszler followed with 18 for the Chargers. Stevenson finished with 15 and Zac VanMeeteren added 12.

Groton’s Lane Tietz led all scorers with 31 points, including a 12-for-12 performance at the charity stripe. Tate Larson contributed nine points.
