YANKTON – Aberdeen Central bounced back from a tight first-set loss to claim a 3-1 win over Yankton Saturday afternoon in Yankton. The Golden Eagles won the Eastern South Dakota Conference volleyball match by set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-11 and 25-15.
Central used an efficient attack at the net and a continued aggressive strategy at the service line in the victory.
“We passed really well,” said Central coach Jackie Bindenagel. “(Ayrlie) Waldo put up some really nice sets, and our hitters took care of the ball.”
