SIOUX FALLS - Aberdeen Central found itself in an uphill battle against O'Gorman Monday night. The Golden Eagles were swept 25-11, 25-12, 25-19 in the non-conference volleyball match. Central had a tough time getting into system and just as much trouble keeping the Knights out of system. "We didn't serve receive well at all. We got aced 13 times," said Central coach Jackie Bindenagel. Meanwhile, the Golden Eagles managed to ace O'Gorman just once. "We didn't serve aggressive," Bindenagel said. Central finished the match with 17 kills, led by Grace Kuch with seven. Ashley Wangler had one of her top performances of the season with five kills and also a solo block. "Ashley Wangler did do a nice job over there," Bindenagel said. "We made some lineup changes and the kids adjusted well." Sydney Evans led the Central defense with 22 digs. The Golden Eagles, 5-6 on the season, play host to Brandon Valley in an Eastern South Dakota Conference match at 7 p.m. Thursday
