WARNER – Class B top-rated Warner racked up 40 kills on the way to a sweep over fourth-rated Wolsey-Wessington in non-conference volleyball Monday night.
The defending state champs claimed a 25-14, 25-16, 25-19 win to improve to 6-0 on the season.
Lauren Marcuson had 10 kills and Kami Anderson eight to lead the Warner hitting attack. Ava Nilsson finished with 32 set assists on the night.
Courtney Bjorgaard topped the Monarchs with 15 digs.
Mya Boomsma had five kills to pace a balanced effort for the Warbirds. Leah Williams and Kailynn Dorris each had four kills. Lainey Uttecht led the Wolsey-Wessington defense with 14 digs, and Williams contributed a dozen.
