MITCHELL – Dakota Wesleyan sophomore Ady Dwight has been named an NAIA First-Team All-American volleyball player. The former Langford Area standout is the DWU’s first ever first-team selection and just the second individual in school history to earn All-American status in the sport.

Dwight had 473 kills this season (eight in the nation) and 136 blocks (14th in the country). She averaged 3.88 kills per set.

Dwight becomes the second Langford native to earn All-American honors this week. On Wednesday, Chance Olson of the Northern State football squad was named to the second-team defense by the National Football Coaches Association.
