BRANDON – Kalen Larson shot a 5-over-par 76 to lead Aberdeen Central in its season-opening action at the Brandon Valley Invitational golf tournament on Monday.
Larson finished 13th in the field to power the Golden Eagles, who were seventh as a team with a total of 335.
Brandon Valley won the team title by six strokes over Watertown led by medalist Carter Peterson, who fired a 3-under-par 68.
Other Central golfers included Cole Brust who was 25th with an 83, Jackson Ravellette who was 34th with an 86, Easton Kludt who was 38th with a 90, Maddox Dinger who was 45th with a 92, and Grayson Rehder who was 53rd with a 94.
