MITCHELL – A group of area girls is among the leaders following the second round of the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Championships Tuesday at Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell.
Miller’s Jayce Pugh is currently in third in the Girls’ 16-17 division with a 36-hole total of 150. She posted the top score of 72 on Monday. Olivia Braun of Aberdeen is fourth with a two-day score of 152. Watertown’s Brynn Roehrich is one stroke back in fifth with a 153.
Gabi Olson of Watertown is the event leader with a 149, followed by Rylan Horning of Rapid City at 150.
Meanwhile Sisseton’s Kenzley Heath is in fifth in the Girls’ 14-15 division with a 155.
Charlie Swift of Harrisburg holds a one-stroke lead over Jayden Antonen of Sioux Falls in the Boys’ 16-17 division. Swift is at 136 and Antonen at 137 heading into today’s final round
